Guide to Proper Cleaning of Curved Glass Bakery Display Case!


 Bakery display cases are essential parts of a bakery that presents the merchandise in just the right way that promotes sales, and puts up a beautiful display. Additionally, a curved glass display case can be pretty spacious that can store and present all the bestselling baked cakes and desserts in a pleasing manner. Hence, maintaining this essential equipment is of utmost importance with the following cleaning tips:
Use a Lint-Free Cloth- All refrigerated bakery display cases need a standard cleaning procedure to be followed to maintain them in their original glory. Thus, the lint-free clean cloth should be used for wiping the surface and cleaning the shelves inside before arranging goods on display. Additionally, when cleaning hot scalding water should be avoided, rather room-temperature water with mild or eco-friendly cleaning agents should be used instead.
Always Avoid Bleaches- Also, never use bleach to clean any harsh spills as such an aggressive chemical can permanently damage the surface. In addition, bleach can easily remove the paint, creating a nasty-looking patch and instigating the corrosion process.
Use Dry Brushing- The condenser fins placed at the back of the refrigerated case are prone to accumulate dust, impacting the performance of the equipment. Dry brushing or a low-intensity hand vacuum should be ideal for cleaning the surface of these cooling fins. While doing so, the fan and element deck and also be lifted up to clean around the coil fins.
Display Glass Cleaning- The curved glass bakery display case is particularly prone to condensation caused by the type of baked goods stored in the refrigerated case. Hence, extra caution should be observed to ensure that no merchandise is placed in the case hot or in a leaking container. In addition, spilled desserts can seep into the case’s machinery and cause damage to the functioning.
